Good questions
Frequently asked questions
Straight answers, no jargon. If something's missing, just call and ask.
Is Reach Adventure a registered NDIS provider?
No, Reach Adventure is an unregistered NDIS provider. Support is currently available to participants who are self managed or plan managed. Unregistered providers aren't able to deliver services to participants whose plan is managed directly by the NDIA (agency managed).
Not sure how your plan is managed? That's completely normal. Give us a call and we can talk it through together.
Which NDIS funding types can you work with?
Self managed and plan managed funding. If your plan is managed by a plan manager, we can invoice them directly. If you're self managed, we'll work out a simple process together.
Can you support complex or clinical needs?
Every situation is assessed individually; we never assume a complex or clinical support is automatically available. Suitability, any training requirements and participant specific procedures are always discussed and confirmed before support begins. Reach Adventure is not a clinical or medical service.
Who do you support?
A genuinely wide range of people, including participants with cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, chronic fatigue syndrome, neurodivergence and other complex needs. Every plan starts with a conversation about what actually helps you, not an assumption based on a diagnosis.
Is the gardening and home support really covered by the NDIS?
Where it connects to your goals, building skills, confidence, routine or a sense of ownership, it can be. This is always support done with you, not general lawn mowing or property maintenance done for you.
Whether it's appropriate for your plan depends on your individual goals, ability, funding and agreed support items, which we'll always confirm together first.
What areas do you service?
Coffs Harbour and the surrounding Mid North Coast, including areas such as Sawtell, Toormina, Boambee, Woolgoolga, Bellingen and Nambucca Heads. See the full service area, and if you're just outside it, call anyway.
What happens at a Meet & Greet?
A relaxed, obligation free conversation, in person or over the phone, about your goals, what support could look like, and whether it feels like a good fit on both sides. There's no pressure and no commitment.
Do I need a support coordinator or plan manager to get started?
No, participants and families are welcome to call directly. If you already have a support coordinator or plan manager, they're welcome to be part of the conversation too.
What checks and training are in place?
NDIS Worker Screening Check, National Police Check, Working With Children Check, First Aid and CPR, NDIS Worker Orientation, Infection Prevention and Control training, and Supporting Safe and Enjoyable Meals training, backed by Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance. See About for more.
Is transport included?
Transport and travel support is one of the core supports on offer; see Appointments, Shopping & Transport for detail.
What if my goals or needs change over time?
Regular check ins are part of how support runs, so plans can adjust as goals, ability or circumstances change. Nothing is locked in and forgotten about.
How do I book a Meet & Greet?
Call 0434 649 996. No forms, no online booking system, just a real conversation with a real person.
